Alongside her main activity as a designer, Maud draws for the sake of drawing. And it's certainly not by chance that she always depicts domestic interiors. They represents the rite of cooking a meal in the warmth of family homes. However, we won’t find modernist design items in their iconography. The furniture is intentionally of no quality. These drawings are tied to family memories, to outdated, standard yet unique environments, and color pencils connect them to childhood.
Maud doesn't create them in the studio but on the corner of a table, at home or on vacation, with no other concern than traveling through time and out of time: off design.
